Our Experience

The Rare Spark Team brings together a considerable amount of experience from across the transport industry. The principals of the company have been closely involved in travel plan projects for ExxonMobil, BAA Heathrow, Capital Shopping Centres, Oracle Corporation, Stockley Park, Citywest, East Point Business Park and Walkers Snack Foods.

These projects have involved a variety of travel plan research tasks such as site surveys, employee focus groups, GIS Mapping and travel surveys. In each case, the research led to the development of a travel plan, tailored to fit the organisation.

The principals of Rare Spark also have a great deal of experience in the implementation of travel plans for a wide range of organisations including setting up Commuter Centres and Transport Management Organisations.The team are also well practiced in redeveloping and monitoring existing travel plans.

In addition, the Rare Spark team also brings experience from other fields and industries including; Marketing, Communication, Event Management, Customer Service, Promotions and Branding. A range of skills which are fully transferable to the travel plan industry.

The Rare Spark team is experienced in all aspects of travel plans from research and development through to implementation and monitoring.

Since forming Rare Spark in 2004, the team has gone on to develop their experience through project based work for a variety of clients. The team has worked closely with clients to produce Transport Assessments and Transport Statements as well as travel plans in support of planning applications.
